I remember as a kid my life was perfect
Those summer days we’d run up to the hills
We did everything we could up there together
The joy I shared with her is with me still.
We stayed up late just playing our Nintendo
Jamming out and watching MTV
With our silly, non-existent reputations
Life was good and we were feeling free.

In the quiet part of town there stood our castle
